ANAMET’s core activities focus on the recovery and trading of metals and metal containing elements from End-of- Life Vehicles, from Electrical and Electronic Equipment Waste, Demolition material, and other waste streams. These are collected and processed in the company’s plants in order to supply the market primarily with steel, copper, brass, iron, and aluminium secondary raw materials.
Additionally, the company - capitalising on its extensive expertise - provides services to corporate and industrial clients.
ANAMET constantly aims for the production of high quality scrap materials to satisfy client needs and specifications through processes that guarantee the minimization of the company’s business activities impact on the environment.
The company has an established policy for its environmental performance and quality standards in place ensuring full compliance with the requirements set by the EMAS Regulation and the ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 management systems; as well as with all statutory requirements in order to meet prescribed goals and objectives in a programme of continuous improvement.
One of ANAMET’s most critical investments is the active promotion of the health and safety of its personnel. This policy is not merely based on financial cost, but mostly on the extent to which it reduces risks and prevents the occurrence of unfortunate incidents implicating employees.
